<br />1 <br />2 Motion: Member Traynor moved, seconded by Member Bakeman, to recommend <br />3 approval of the request by Qwest Wireless and Frank's Nursery & Crafts for a <br />4 Conditional Use Permit allowing the installation of a 54 foot tall monopole with one <br />5 antenna and supportive equipment shelter in the northeast corner of the parking lot <br />6 at 1800 South Highway 36 Service Drive, based on the information provided in <br />7 Section 6 and conditions of Section 7 (as outlined above) ofthe project report dated <br />8 April 2, 2003. <br />9 <br />10 Member Stone asked if equipment can be placed in the parking lot and screened. <br />11 <br />12 Motion: Member Stone moved, seconded by Member Duncan, to amend the <br />13 motion require the supportive equipment to be placed in the parking lot (no tree <br />14 removal or cutting required). <br />15 <br />16 Member Bakeman asked if the equipment could be moved further from the pole or closer <br />17 to the pole and delete the condition 7.3 of the project report. <br />18 <br />19 Chair Duncan and Member Stone asked if placement, fencing, landscaping and screening <br />20 could be done in other areas as long as screening was completed. <br />21 <br />22 Amendment Motion: <br />23 Ayes: 4 <br />24 Nays: 3 <br />25 Motion carried. <br />26 <br />27 Main Motion with approved amendment: <br />28 <br />29 Ayes: 6 <br />30 Nays: 1 <br />31 Motion carried. <br />32 <br />
