<br />01' Mexico Parking Issue - 08/15/02 <br /> <br />Contact: John Pavlick - 01' Mexico, 651-487-2874 <br /> <br />Re: Concern with prohibited parking west of Lexington in Lexington Plaza Shoppes <br />Parking Lot <br /> <br />On May 7, 1986 the Planning Commission reviewed parking requests for 1688, 1754 <br />(known as the "Center") and 1755 (known as the "Shoppes") at one time since the <br />projects were interrelated. <br /> <br />Paster Enterprises (PF 1664) received a parking variance approval at 1688 and 1754 <br />Lexington (Center) from the City Council (05/12/86) with 6 conditions: <br />. 7 feet of Lexington to be dedicated, <br />. Appropriate handicapped parking to be installed, <br />. Landscaping and engineering plans to be reviewed by the staff, <br />. A development agreement to be signed. <br />.. Sidewalk on Larpenteur to be constructed as required <br />. Evaluate traffic flow considerations for egress between Larpenteur and <br />Roma <br /> <br />Paster Enterprises (PF 1664) received a parking variance approval at 1755 Lexington <br />(Shoppes) from the City Council (05/12/86) with 8 conditions: <br />.. Sign a Development Agreement with the City of RoseviHe. <br />(9 Staff to review site, grading, landscape plans <br />(9 Developer to meet with staff and neighbors on fencing and landscaping <br />agreement <br />. Lighting plan be reviewed by staff <br />. 16.5 fee of r.o.w. be dedicated on Lexington <br />.. Trash collectors in rear be enclosed <br />. Evaluate traffic flow considerations for egress between Larpentuer and <br />Roma <br /> <br />City Council approved (05/12/86) vacation ofroadway easement on Dionne Street, west <br />of Lexington, and instructed attorney to record the document. <br /> <br />On August 22, 1986 a draft of the development agreement was distributed to the <br />parties. It was finally signed on September 18, 1986. <br /> <br />The agreement detailed that the developer was granted parking setback variances to: <br /> <br />1) a setback of feet on both the east and west sides of Lexington A venue for the <br />entire length of the existing development (Center) and the new project (Shoppes); <br />
