<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of June, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Council Member <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 17.73 FOOT VARIANCE <br />TO SECTION 1004.01A7 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3063 VICTORIA STREET (PF 3465) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kenneth Berger has requested a variance to Section 1004.0lA7 (Location) <br />of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a 24 foot by 26 foot (624 sq. ft) detached <br />accessory building (garage) in the front yard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Berger parcel is located at 3063 Victoria Street and legally described at <br /> <br />as: <br /> <br />Saint Paul Park subj. to Rd; ex W 90 ft and ex N 79 ft; the N 188.15 It MOL of Lot 21 <br />PID 02-29-23-21-0087 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.0lA7 of the Roseville City Code does not allow an accessory <br />building to be located in a front yard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Berger ahs a minimum front yard setback of 40 feet for a principal <br />structure and an existing front yard distance of 57.73 feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Berger request would locate (construct) the detached garage 17.73 into <br />the from yard area or a distance of 40 feet from the front property line; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant <br />Kenneth Berger a 17.73 foot V ARlANCE to Section 1004.0lA7 (Location) of the Roseville City <br />Code allowing the construction a 24 foot by 26 foot (624 sq. ft.) detached accessory building <br />(garage) at 3063 Victoria Street, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />a. The applicant using the lot's survey to supply the Building Department with a <br />scaled site plan with dimensions for detached accessory building and added <br />driveway for building permit application, thus allowing the Community <br />Development Department to verify the setbacks, driveway locations as per the <br />variance request, and size of the new structure. <br /> <br />1 <br />
