<br />1 <* O. Service Drop Conductors: No swimming pool shall be placed or constructed so as <br />2 to be under any service drop conductors and any other open overhead wiring, nor <br />3 within ten feet (10') horizontally from the pool edge, diving structure, observation <br />4 stands, towers or platforms. No service drop conductors and other open overhead <br />5 wiring shall be installed over or by any existing swimming pool except in <br />6 conformance with this subsection. (Ord. 636, 11-9-70) <br /> <br />7 905.04: MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING AREAS: <br /> <br />8 Private swimming pools intended for and used by the occupants of a multiple-family <br />9 dwelling and the guests of the occupants of said dwelling, shall adhere to the following <br />10 regulations: <br /> <br />11 A. Lot Lines: No part of the water surface of the swimming pool shall be less than fifty <br />12 feet (50') from any lot line. <br /> <br />13 B. Service Equipment: No pumps, filter or other apparatus used in connection with or to <br />14 service a swimming pool shall be located less than fifty feet (50') from any lot line. <br /> <br />15 C. Fencing: The pool area shall be adequately fenced to prevent uncontrolled access from <br />16 the street or adjacent property. Adequate screening, including, but not limited to, <br />17 landscaping shall be placed between the pool area and adjacent single-family district <br />18 lot lines. <br /> <br />19 D. Deck Areas: All deck areas, adjacent patios and other similar areas used in <br />20 conjunction with the swimming pool shall be located at least thirty feet (30') from any <br />21 lot line in an adjacent single-family district. (Ord. 636, 11-9-70) <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 905.05: REGULATED POOLS: <br /> <br />24 A. Definition: All artificial pools, including any structure, basin, chamber or tank <br />25 containing a body of water for swimming, diving, relaxation, recreational bathing, <br />26 treatment pools, therapeutic pools, special pools for water therapy, whirlpool baths, <br />27 spas and cold plunges, except those located on public school property or a single- <br />28 family residential property, are subject to the provisions of subsections Band C of <br />29 this Section. <br /> <br />30 B. Inspection: The County Health Department is authorized to conduct such inspections <br />31 as are deemed necessary to ensure compliance with all Minnesota State rules and <br />32 regulations as they apply to water standards and shall have the right of entry at any <br />33 reasonable hour to said pools for this purpose. <br /> <br />34 C. Water Standards: Those provisions set forth in MHD - 141, Rules and Regulations of <br />35 the Minnesota Department of Health, relating to public swimming pools, 1971, as <br /> <br />21 <br />
