<br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />May 27, 2003 <br /> <br />Mr. Paul Westermeyer <br />1240 Belmont Lane <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Setback Permit (6 feet) for entry porch at 1240 Belmont Lane (PF3477) <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Westermeyer: <br /> <br />On Thursday, May 22,2003, the City of Roseville Development Review Committee (DRC) held <br />the hearing regarding your request to constmct a 6 foot porch on to your front entry. The <br />proposed porch is 6 feet by 8 feet or 48 s.f. <br /> <br />The current home sets 30 feet from the front property line. The ently will increase living area and <br />reduce safety hazards at the front door/landing at your home. This addition, as proposed, <br />necessitated the 6 foot Setback Permit to constmct to a point 24 feet from the front yard property <br />line. The DRC recommended approval of the request (attached is a draft copy of the meeting <br />notes). As the Community Development Director, I have also approved of this setback permit. <br /> <br />The 10-day Setback Permit appeal time ends on Friday June 6th, at 4:30 p.m. after which the <br />building pem1it can be issued. However, you may submit your building plans in advance of the <br />appeal deadline for review and approval so that permits can be issued soon thereafter. <br /> <br />Good Luck on the project.
