Roll Call <br />5 <br />6 Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br />7 Order: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br />8 and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present; and Councilmember Willmus ar- <br />9 rived at approximately 6:09 p.m.; having previously advised that he would be arriving <br />10 late due to family commitments. <br />11 <br />2. Approve Agenda <br />12 <br />13 City Manager Trudgeon requested the addition of a business action item to tonight’s <br />14 agenda to consider approval of a burn permit for 1894 Alta Vista Drive. <br />15 <br />16 Laliberte moved, Etten seconded approval of the agenda as amended. <br />17 <br /> Roll Call <br />18 <br />Ayes: <br />19 McGehee, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe. <br />Nays: <br />20 None. <br />21 <br />3. Public Comment <br />22 <br />23 Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br />24 items. No one appeared to speak. <br />25 <br />4. Council Communications, Reports, and Announcements <br />26 <br />27 Mayor Roe announced a winter attire donation drive by the Roseville Visitors Associa- <br />28 tion (RVA) and OVALumination partnering with the Roseville School District, with do- <br />29 nations accepted at the Skating Center /OVAL anytime the buildings are open, and run- <br />30 ning through the winter months, with clothing being distributed among students in the <br />31 Roseville Area School District. Additional information is available at the RVA, 651/633- <br />32 3002. <br />33 <br />34 Mayor Roe announced the upcoming interactive presentation to meet Karen community <br />35 immigrants to the United States, on November 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey <br />36 County Library – Roseville Branch, one of several events scheduled to get to know di- <br />37 verse groups in the area, with a complete list available at: rclreads.org. <br />38 <br />39 Mayor Roe announced dates and times for upcoming city-related meetings; and noted <br />40 that the City Offices would be closed on November 27 and 28, 2014 for the Thanksgiving <br />41 holidays. <br />42 <br />43 Councilmember Etten announced a “Walk to End Hunger” scheduled on Thanksgiving <br />44 Day at 10:00 a.m. at the Mall of America, sponsored in part by area and local civic organ- <br /> <br />
