At the request of the Applicant the Comcil moved to reconsider Canadian Financial CotpOTation I s proposal and to establish a public hearing for JlI'Ie 14, 1976. The applicant'S request for special use permit and variances had previously been denied by the Council on May 17th. The reasons for re- consideration are that the Canadian Financial Corporation ROW proposes to c:onst'rUCt a five stoty seniors building ratheT than a 7 story building, to redut:e the total JU.lri)er of units by 18, to delete the request for rezoning and to include additional active recreational area for teenagers. The pro- posed de\"elopnent will consist of a five story apartment b1.d1ding for the elderly, 5 three stoty (Townhouse type) buildings and 5 t"-O stoty (toW.ouse type) buildings.
