<br />claim~ng through such First Mortgagee. who has obtained title <br />pursuant to the remedies pcovided in a First Mortgage. or by <br />foreclosure or by deed. or assignment. in lieu of ioreclosure) <br />shall not be l~able for any unpaid assessments levied against such <br />Un~t up to the time of transfer. unless assumed by such <br />tr~nsferee. However~ any such transfer~e shall be entitled to a <br />statement from the Board. stating that transferee shall not be <br />liable. nor shall the Unit be subject to a lien as against the <br />rights of such transferee. for any unpaid assessments against such <br />Unit in excess of the amount therein set forth. For purposes <br />hereof. title to a Unit shall be deeMed transferred by foreclosure <br />upcn expiration of the applicable period of redemption. <br />5.3.
