They have attempted to alleviate thh to some <br />degree by adding eight (8) additional parking 'pace. on the we.t .ide of <br />the exi.ting convent structure. This space could be extended further to <br />the north, but of course would have a devastatin, effect on the ae.thetic. <br />to the yard in the front of the school (facing Hamline). The con.truction <br />of a tunnel connecting the ed.ting convent with the .chool will allow <br />person. to enter the convent (particularly in the winter tilM) via the <br />school entrance from the parking lot, eut of the .chool. There are <br />facilities for 23 car. north and ea.t of the convent, which are relatively <br />close and acceslible to the back of the convent. What we want to avoid, <br />?f courte, is to have excenive street parking at the intertection of <br />Hamline and Skillman Avenues. <br /> <br />7.
