<br />We,the undersigned residents of RoseVlllc, feel that the wooded area
<br />to the north of Brimhall Elementary School acros!! County Rd. B is
<br />an essential natural laboratory for the en\Vronm.ental education of many
<br />children In the village, and we therefore petlnon the Village Councu
<br />to authorue no development of the parcel of land between Highway 36
<br />and County Rd. B, immediately across Highway 36 from ROlledale. if it
<br />would in any way destroy any portion of this wooded area.

<br />We further encourage the Villag~, the school district. the developers.
<br />and all other mterested parties to enter Into serlOU8 diSCUSSions in
<br />an effort to pursue all possible mean3 (for example, joint acquisition
<br />and/or apphcatlon for federal and state funds) of preserVlng a sufficlent
<br />and appropriate portion of this natural area for instructional, recreational
<br />and environmental purposes.
