<br />We,the undersigned reludents of Roseville, feel that the wooded area
<br />to the north of Brimhall Elementary School across County Rd. B is
<br />an essential natural laboratory for the emvronmental education of many
<br />chlldren in the V1Uage, and we therefore petinon the Village CouDell
<br />to authorize no development of th~ parcel of land betwe~n Highway 36
<br />and County Rd. B. immedlately across H1ghway 36 from ROlledale. if lt
<br />would in any way destroy any portion of this wooded area.
<br />
<br />We further encourage the Village. the school district, the developers.
<br />and aU oilier 1nterested parhes to enter into serious di.cussions in
<br />an effort to pursue aU pOllible means (for example. j01Dt acquisition
<br />and/or a.pplicatton for federal and state fund.) of pruerving a sufficient
<br />and appropriate portion of this natural area for instrucnort:11. recreational
<br />and envi ronmental purposes.
