He <br />COllllllented the proposal includes a 6" deadend water main into the townhouse <br />complex. The development requires an 8" 11ne. In addition, if the 8" Une <br />is not looped into another water maln, the sprinkling of the units would be <br />required. <br /> <br />Mr. Xehr indicated they propose to construct an 8" deadend main. <br /> <br />Mr. Klecker commented the applicant would put in a temporary turnaround, using <br />a gravel base with sod over the top. Mr. Dougherty stated thet would not be <br />acceptable because the gravel base would not be sufficient to hold the woight <br />of the flre trucks. Mr. Klecker felt there could be enough base to support <br />the load of the trucks. <br /> <br />~lr. Dougherty indicated elther the Sit main would need to be looped into another <br />water main. or the bUlldings would need to be sprinklered. <br /> <br />Mr. Honchell. Public Works Director, commented the RoseVllle f1ve-year capital <br />improvement program docs contaln a proposed water main runnIng throu~h the <br />park south of Mr. Kehr's property., into which an 8" maln could be looped. <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina asked the status of the petitlon by the property o~~ers affected <br />by the extenslon of the driveway to Dale Street. <br /> <br />~lr. Kehr indIcated th:1t of the three owners, 1>lr. John Salverda had signed <br />indicating hlS approval and Mr. Borgstrom has lndlcated he does not oppose <br />the ldea. but did not ~ant to sIgn the petition. <br /> <br />Ed Salverda Indicated, that as one of the three property owners, he had not <br />SIgned the petition; he did not want to go against hIS neighbors. <br />
