A. <br /> <br />Department Approval: <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />LAND USE <br /> <br />Request oy Wally McCarthy Auto Group & the Salvation Army for an <br />Interim Use Permit to allow a parking of dealer vehicles on a portion <br />of the Salvation Army's parking for one year (PF3412). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />1.1 Wally McCarthy Auto Group in conjunction with the Salvation Army has submitted an <br />application for an Interim Use Permit to allow the temporary parking of new vehicles on <br />a portion of the west parking lot of the Salvation Army, 2445 Prior Avenue. <br /> <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br /> <br />. Application submitted on May 24, 2002 <br />. Determined complete on June 28,2002 <br />. 60-Day Review Deadline on August 27,2002 <br />. Staff Review: Approval- July 10, 2002 <br />. Planning Commission Recommendation: Approval (5-1), July 10,2002 <br />. Anticipated Council Action: Approval, July 29, 2002 <br /> <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />2.1 The Community Development Staff recommends approval of the request by Wally <br />McCarthy for a 12 month Interim Use Permit allowing the parking of new vehicles in the <br />western most parking lot of the Salvation Army, 2445 Prior Avenue. <br /> <br />2.2 After holding the required public hearing the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval (5-1). <br /> <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />3.1 By motion recommend approval (see Section 7 for more detail). <br /> <br />Project information and detailed recommendation on following pages. <br /> <br />PF3412 - ReA 072902 - Page 1 of 4 <br />
