- just look at the water washouts on my back side lawn on Fulham to realize the truth of
this situation.

2. There is the question of rezoning the Masterpiece Homes proposal from single family
district to two family district - 24 units - two families each - totaling 48 new families.
This is great for the City of Roseville tax base but not for those of us who bought into a
single family area. Not to mention at this point that the Strom family sold their
backyard (kitty corner from the front of our home on West Laurie
Road) to Coldwell Banker who is selling this particular lot for $120,000 and plan to put a
$450,000 on the site) so this will make 49 new families using our current water/sewer
systems. (FYI the development of this former Strom backyard into a new home is not wholly
unacceptable to us because the Strom family has a police history, drug dealers sitting in
front of our home day/night, being incarcerated, drunkeness, etc. so a nice home would be
welcome for the neighbors but woe to the new family inasmuch as Strom will live right
behind them with his six dogs, pool parties and unsavory visitors) (let the buyer beware) .
I digress - the worry will be drinking water and sewer capability of the present systems.

3. When the Anderson family on Fulham (across the street from my
garage) built their home a few years back we noticed immediately the diminishing water
pressure especially in summer. We even put in a new kitchen sink and faucets thinking
ours were in an old house and new fixtures would help the situation. What are Roseville's
plans for 49 more families in this immediate area as respects trickles of water on hot
summer days when everyone is watering?

4. What about sewer capability?

5. Can the Roseville schools handle all the increased volume of children? Busing?

6. Then there is the question of the proposal of closing County Road B. Major mistake.
Do you expect the folks on County Road B to pay for road maintenance for all the increased
usage? The City of Roseville needs to sit down and look at the Masterpiece Homes proposal
- bad bad idea.

Respectfully,

Alice A. Coons
(Mrs. George deR. Coons)
2292 West Laurie Road
Roseville, Minnesota 55113

------ http://USFamily.Net/info - Unlimited Internet - From $8.99/mo! ------

2
