<br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 19th day of August, 2002, at 6:30 p.rn. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Kough, Klausing <br />and the following were absent: Schroeder, Kysylyczyn <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10027 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM TOTAL <br />SURFACE AREA) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 592 SEXTANT AVENUE (PF 3418). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Tim Golie has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total <br />Surface Area) in order to construct an porch addition on to the existing home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Golie's property is located at 592 Sextant Avenue and legally described at as: <br />Lot 3, Block 1, Tuerk's Outback, Roseville, MN, PID#122923230049 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A61imits each residential lot in Roseville to a maximum impervious <br />coverage of 30%; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Tim Golie's parcel currently occupies more than 30% impervious area (structures <br />and pavement surfaces); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Tim Golie desires to construct certain home improvements including a porch <br />addition to the existing home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said existing and new improvements exceed the maximum total surface area allowed <br />by Section 1004.01A6 by 622 square feet or 6%; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the variance <br />request by Tim Golie on August 7,2002, and recommended (5-0) approval of the request, based on <br />findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated August 7, 2002. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Tim Golie 622 <br />square foot (6%) variance to Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code based on the findings in <br /> <br />1 <br />
