<br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
<br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of September 2012 at 6:00
<br /> p.m.
<br /> The following Members were present: Johnson, Willmus, McGehee, Pust and Roe;
<br /> and none were absent.
<br /> Council Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br /> RESOLUTION No. 11011
<br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF ROADWAY AND HIGHWAY
<br /> EASEMENTS (PF12-007)
<br /> WHEREAS,the City of Roseville acquired a public roadway and highway easement by a
<br /> Quit Claim Deed dated April 29, 1959, and filed on June 7, 1960, as Document No. 1511814, in
<br /> the Office of the Ramsey County Recorder, on, over and across real property located in
<br /> Roseville, Minnesota; and
<br /> WHEREAS, a majority of the property owners abutting those portions of said public
<br /> roadway and highway easements legally described as follows:
<br /> That part of the east 10.00 feet of Lots 6,7,8,9 and 10, Block B, TWIN VIEW,
<br /> according to said plat on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder,
<br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota, as described in Quit Claim Deed, Document Number
<br /> 1511814, recorded June 7, 1960, which lies southerly of a line drawn parallel with
<br /> and distant 168.18 feet northerly of the southerly line of said Lot 7, Block B,
<br /> AND
<br /> That part of the west 10.00 feet of Lots 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block C, TWIN VIEW,
<br /> according to said plat on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder,
<br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota, as described in Quit Claim Deed, Document Number
<br /> 1511814,recorded June 7, 1960, which lies southerly of the easterly extension of
<br /> a line drawn parallel with and distant 65.50 feet northerly of the southerly line of
<br /> Lot 7, Block B of said TWIN VIEW,
<br /> have filed a Petition with the City of Roseville requesting the vacation of a portion of said
<br /> easement; and
<br /> WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice having been given, as well as
<br /> notice having been mailed to all affected property owners according to Minnesota Statutes and
<br /> Roseville City Code, a public hearing was held by the Roseville Planning Commission on July
<br /> 11, 2012 at which all persons interested in said Petition were given an opportunity to be heard
<br /> prior to a unanimous vote by the Planning Commission to approve said vacation; and
