<br />B The sign not encroaching in to the public right-of-way and limited to a zero <br />property line setback. <br /> <br />C The review and approval of a sign permit consistent with the approved variance <br />and plans. <br /> <br />D The sign meeting all other applicable Codes. <br /> <br />7.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: <br /> <br />7.1 On Wednesday, November 6, 2002 the Roseville Planning Commission held the public <br />hearing regarding the Midland Grove Condo's variance request. At the hearing the City <br />Planner made a brief presentation detailing the specifics of the variance request and <br />answered questions by the Commission. The applicant, Tom Metz, addressed the <br />Commission further explaining the existing hardships. The City Planner received no <br />objections (via e-mail, telephone call, or letter) for the variance request. <br /> <br />7.2 The Planning Commission recommend approval (7-0) of a 15 foot variance to Section <br />1009.03M ofthe Roseville City Code for Tom Metz and Midland Grove Condominiums, <br />allowing the installation of a replacement ground sign at 2200 to 2250 Midland Grove <br />Road, based on the findings in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report <br />dated November 6, 2002. <br /> <br />8.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> <br />8.1 Adopt a resolution granting a 15 foot variance to Section 1009.03M of the Roseville <br />City Code for Tom Metz (Gaughan Properties & Midland Grove Condominiums) <br />allowing the installation of a replacement ground sign at 2200 to 2250 Midland <br />Grove Road, based on the findings in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the <br />project report dated November 18, 2002. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke (651-490-2236) <br /> <br />Attachments: Location map, narrative, sign plan, aerial photo. <br /> <br />PF3436 - ReA 111802 - Page 4 of 4 <br />
