Designate 2015 Acting Mayor <br /> Willmus moved, Laliberte seconded, appointment of Councilmember Etten as <br /> Acting Mayor for 2015, in accordance with Minnesota State Statute 411.121. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> b. Consider Citizen Advisory Commission Reappointments <br /> McGehee moved to separate individual appointments, allowing for some to be in- <br /> cluded in a future interview process. <br /> Mayor Roe ruled the motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> Willmus moved, Laliberte seconded, all reappointments as eligible and as listed <br /> on the RCA dated January 5, 2015. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Etten, Laliberte, and Roe. <br /> Nays: McGehee. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> c. Consider Council/Staff Retreat: Consultant& Agenda <br /> City Manager Trudgeon briefly summarized research to-date as noted in the RCA <br /> dated January 5, 2015 and in follow-up to the December 8, 2015 discussion re- <br /> garding a strategic planning retreat early in 2015. <br /> City Manager Trudgeon recommended a facilitator to allow staff and Coun- <br /> cilmembers to participate in the process. In consideration of his recommendation, <br /> Mr. Trudgeon advised that following his review of potential facilitators and their <br /> credentials, he was recommending Craig Rapp to serve as facilitator, and provid- <br /> ed a brief synopsis of Mr. Rapp's credentials as detailed in the RCA and Attach- <br /> ment A. Mr. Trudgeon advised that he and Mayor Roe had an opportunity to <br /> meet with Mr. Rapp to further research his fit with the City as a facilitator. <br />
