<br />D The installation of windows along the west side of the attached garage to break-up <br />the long mass of the building wall. <br /> <br />E The installation of roof gutters to properly direct roof drainage away from the west <br />property. <br /> <br />F The review and approval of a building permit consistent with the approved plans <br />and variance. <br /> <br />7.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: <br /> <br />7.1 On December 4, 2002, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing <br />regarding the Prokop variance request. No citizens addressed the Commission and Mr. <br />Prokop was unavailable for comment. <br /> <br />7.2 Commissioners Stone and Mulder expressed concern regarding the proposed size and <br />height of the proposed attached garage and need of the rear yard accessory structure. A <br />representative for Mr. Prokop addressed the Commission stating that the rear yard <br />accessory structure was the pool equipment storage structure would be difficult to <br />remove. <br /> <br />7.3 The Commission voted (4-2) to recommend approval of the 1,541 square foot (15%) <br />variance to Section 1004.01A6 and a 1 foot variance to Section 1004.02D5 of the <br />Roseville City Code, for Richard and Joan Prokop, 700 County Road B2, based on the <br />findings in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated December 4, <br />2002. <br /> <br />8.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> <br />8.1 Adopt a resolution approving a 1,541 square foot (15%) variance to Section <br />1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code for Richard & Joan Prokop, to allow the <br />addition of a 913 square attached garage and 148 square feet of additional driveway <br />at 700 County Road B2, based on the findings in Section 5 and conditions of Section <br />6 of the project report dated December 16, 2002;and <br /> <br />8.2 Adopt a resolution approving a 1 foot variance to Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville <br />City Code, to allow an attached garage four feet from the property line at 700 <br />County Road B2, based on the findings in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of <br />the project report dated December 16, 2002. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke (651-490-2236) <br /> <br />Attachments: Location map, narrative, site plan, aerial photo. <br /> <br />PF3443 - ReA 121602 - Page 5 of 5 <br />
