<br />B The sign along County Road B2 being limited to a zero property line setback <br /> <br />C The sign along Rarnline A venue being limited to a three foot setback. <br /> <br />D Both signs being limited to a maximum signage area of 50 square feet and a <br />maximum sign height of 8 feet. <br /> <br />E The review and approval of a sign permit consistent with the approved variance <br />and plans. <br /> <br />F The sign meeting all other applicable Codes. <br /> <br />7.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: <br /> <br />7.1 On December 4, 2002, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing <br />regarding the variance request by Grace Church. At this hearing an area resident <br />addressed the Commission regarding ground lighting shining into oncoming traffic and <br />whether that could be eliminated with the new sign. The City Planner indicated that the <br />new sign would extend to the ground leaving no gap as is the case with the existing signs <br />and Commissioner Mulder requested that Grace Church review lighting options for the <br />sign. <br /> <br />7.2 The Commission voted (6-0) to recommend approval of a 15 foot variance to Section <br />1009.03M of the Roseville City Code to replace a sign along County Road B2 and a 12 <br />foot variance to Section 1009.03M of the Roseville City Code to replace a sign along <br />Ramline Avenue, both for Grace Church Roseville, 1310 County Road B2, based on the <br />findings in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated December 4, <br />2002. <br /> <br />8.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> <br />8.1 Adopt a resolution granting a 15 foot variance to Section 1009.03M of the Roseville <br />City Code to replace the sign along County Road B2 and a 12 foot variance to <br />Section 1009.03M of the Roseville City Code to replace the sign along Hamline <br />A venue, both for Grace Church Roseville, 1310 County Road B2, based on the <br />findings in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated <br />December 16, 2002. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke (651-490-2236) <br /> <br />Attachments: Location map, narrative, aerial photo. <br /> <br />PF3446 - ReA 121602 - Page 4 of 4 <br />
