G.E.M. INVESTMENTS

1910 W. COUN'IY ROAD C

ROSEVlLLE. MN 55113

February 28, 2003

Tom Paschke
City of Roseville
2660 Civic Center Dr.
Roseville, MN 55113

Dear Tom,

Per our previous discussion we are submitting some alternative
exterior building materials for consideration for our building that will be
located behind Abra's. Our intent is to match and/or compliment the Abra
design with materials that will appear similar but at a cost that will assure
the affordability required to move this project to reality.

A. Our first choice would be a combination of rock face block with
smooth bands painted to match Abras' glazed stripes. The rock face would
be stained and sealed to blend with Abra's color.

B. An option would be to add Abra's burnished block below
windows at the entry side.

C. Another option we would like to consider is a rock faced (Fabcon)
panel stained to blend with Abra's color. This would be similar to what was
used at the Gateway site.

Sincerely,

c;JtarL~A/

Mark Casci
