G.E.M. Investments is a family partnership that purchased the
Roseville property at 1910 W. County Road C from Robert Ashbach,
Ashbach Construction in 1974. Since then we have operated our family
owned residential and commercial painting and wall covering business from
this site. The decorating busmess was started m 1950 by Eugene Cascl who
still comes in daily to offer direction and advice.

Over the years we have helped cover the costs by renting ottice, shop
and yard space. Some tenants have been with us over 20 years.

The site is a relatively rectangular area just under 3 acres, with a little
over 10,000 sq ft of existing buildings (3000 sq ft of office, 3000 sq ft of
heated shop and 4000 sq ft of metal Quonset hut).

Our proposed new building, to be located at the rear of the property, is
7200 sq ft including approximately 2000 sq ft of office. The new facility
will allow for existing tenants that do not require yard storage to move to the
new building. Specifically this v/Quld be, Bankers Service a locksmith
service for bank safe deposit boxes and Fasteners Plus a construction tool
repair service. These businesses do not have customers coming to their
location.

The shop space will be used to store and stage equipment and supplies
for our decorating business. Vole also need space to store miscellaneous
scaffold_ three trucks and trailers. which are cunentlv stored outside.
