<br /> <br />to thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of February, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschka, Kough, Klausing <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10203 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1007.01E OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR INVESTORS REAL ESTATE TRUST & HOOD <br />PACKAGING, 3075 LONG LAKE ROAD (PF3547) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Investors Real Estate Tmst (property owner) & Hood Packaging (leaser) <br />have requested a VARIANCE to Section 1007.01E (Building Height) of the Roseville City Code <br />to allow the roof height on a portion (northeast) of the existing roof to increase from the existing <br />40 feet to 60 feet in order to accommodate a plastic film extruder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hood Packaging is located at 3075 Long lake Road, and legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />REQUIRES CORRECT LEGAL <br />PIN: 05-29-23-12-0009 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section l007.01E (Building Height) reads: "building heightfor <br />manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and showroom structures shall be no greater than 45 <br />feet in any industrial district. Office structures shall be limited to 4 stories and a height of 60 <br />feet in any industrial district"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Hood Packaging seeks to increase a portion of a manufacturing area from 40 <br />to 60 feet to accommodate a new 58 foot tall plastic film extruder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing <br />regarding the Investors Real Estate Trust/Hood Packaging request, recommending (7-0) approval <br />of a 15 foot VARIANCE to Section 1007.01E of the Roseville City Code, based on the findings <br />of Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated February 4, 2004; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to approve a 15 <br />foot VARIANCE to Section 1007.01E of the Roseville City Code for Investors Real Estate <br />Trust/Hood Packaging, 3075 Long Lake Road, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
