<br /> <br /> <br />vehicles; molests or annoys any person away from property other than that of the <br /> <br />owner; is repeatedly found running at large; or attacks other animals. <br /> <br />Subd. 8 Owner; Keeper. The words "Owner" or "Keeper" shall mean any person, <br /> <br />firm or corporation owning, harboring or keeping a dog. <br /> <br />Subd.9 Wild or Exotic Animal. The words "Wild or Exotic Animal" shall mean any <br /> <br />mammal, amphibian, reptile or bird which is of a species not usually domesticated and <br /> <br />of a species which, due to size, wild nature or other characteristics, is dangerous to <br /> <br />humans and would ordinarily be confined in a zoo or found in the wild. The term shall <br /> <br />include animals and birds the keeping of which is licensed by the state or federal <br /> <br />government, such as wolves, raptors and pheasants. The term shall also include, but <br /> <br />not be limited to the following: <br /> <br />A. Any large cat of the family "Felidae," such as lions, tigers, jaguars, <br /> <br />cougars, leopards and ocelots, but excluding commonly accepted <br /> <br />domesticated house cats; <br /> <br />B. Any member of the family "Canidae," such as wolves, coyotes, dingoes <br /> <br />and jackals, but excluding commonly accepted domesticated dogs; <br /> <br />4-3 <br /> <br />Adopted <br /> <br />, 2001 <br />
