St.
1731 Terrace Drive
Roseville, MN 55113

This proposed property a Pre through 1
grade charter school. will house both, The Agricultural and Food Sciences
Academy (9th through 1ih) and Family Academy (Pre through 8th) charter
schools. In following with recommendations from Roseville City officials
these schools went in search of a location that is either within or bordering a
residential zoning area. This particular building currently is zoned light
industrial but borders residential on the northern property line. The facility
also borders Oasis Park on the northern property line. The close proximity
of this park will benefit as use for required green space for these schools.
This location also meets the schools requirements for growth into the future
both on space and parking. This building would require interior build out to
meet the need of these schools but by their joining of forces they will be able
to share resources such as gymnasIUms, food services, labs, administration
and offices. A proposed layout for the build would be to have shared
facilities in the center and allow both schools to operate independently on
opposite sides of the building. This would keep interaction between the
upper and lower grade levels to a minimum.
