The Community Development Staff has <br />determined that the allowance of a 10 foot VARIANCE to Section 1009.03M of the <br />Roseville City Code will not alter the essential character of the locality, nor <br />adversely affect the public health, safety, or general welfare, of the city or adjacent <br />properties. <br /> <br />6.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />6.1 The Community Development Department recommends approval of a 10 foot <br />VARIANCE to Section 1009.03M of the Roseville City Code for Rose of Sharon, Inc. <br />(Kinderberry Hill Child Care, 1360 Lexington Avenue, based on the findings in Section 5 <br />and the following conditions: <br /> <br />a. The sign must be located a minimum of 5 feet from the property linc adjacent to <br />Lexington Avenue. <br /> <br />b. The sign must meet all applicable requirements of Section 1009.04 and 1009.08 of <br />the Roseville City Code. <br /> <br />c. The flag pole shall have a maximum height of20 feet from grate to top of pole. <br /> <br />d. A sign permit is necessary and must be applied for and consistcnt with the site plan <br />dated August 19,2004. <br /> <br />7.0 SUGGESTED VARIANCE BOARD ACTION: <br /> <br />7,1 ADOPT a RESOLUTION APPROVING a 10 foot VARIANCE to Section <br />10009.03M of the Roseville City Code for Rose of Sharon, Inc, (Kinderberry Hill Child <br />Care) 1360 Lexington A venue, based on the findings in Section 5 and the conditions of <br />Section 6 of the project report dated September 1, 2004. <br /> <br />PF3596 R VBA 090104 - Page 4 of 5 <br />
