Said modification can include two locations for pipes to <br />cany drainage from the west to the east under the path and into the storm <br />management pond. <br /> <br />9.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: <br /> <br />9.l On October 6, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding <br />United Properties request. At the meeting, no citizens addressed the Commission with <br />questions or comments regarding the proposed development. <br /> <br />9.2 The Planning Commission continued the hearing to October 14; reopened the hearing for <br />citizen question and/or comment; and closed the hearing. Commissioner Bakeman asked <br />that the elevation of the single level town home facing the Arona Pond be revised to <br />include additional building elements and details similar to the existing row homes, and <br />landscaping to improve visual appeal. The Community Development staff will work with <br />United Properties to enhance these elevations. <br /> <br />9.3 The Planning Commission voted (5-0) to recommend approval of the easement vacation, <br />preliminary & final plat, and determined that the proposed development was consistent <br />with General Concept Development Plan of June l6, 2003 (see attached draft minute <br />excerpts) . <br /> <br />10.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> <br />lO.l BY MOTION, RECOMMEND APPROVAL of the VACATION of a PUBLIC <br />UTILITY and DRAINAGE EASEMENT, located in the northern portion of <br />Applewood Pointe of Arona 3 rd Addition, specifically over Lot 1, Block 1 of said <br />subdivision plat (as described on the preliminary plat). <br /> <br />lO.2 BY MOTION, RECOMMEND APPROVAL of the PRELIMINARY & FINAL <br />PLAT, subdividing Outlot B into l7 town home lots and 1 common lot, subject to <br />conditions in Section 8.0 of the project report dated October 25,2004. <br /> <br />Prepared by Thomas Paschke, City Planner - 65l-792-7074 <br />Attachments: Narrative, proposed development plan packet, and aerial photo. <br /> <br />PF3602_RCA_I02504.doc Page 8 01'8 <br />
