<br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board the <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of November, at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Mulder and <br />Boerigter, <br /> <br /> <br />Variance Board Member Mulder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />VB RESOLUTION NO.6 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 731 SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION <br />1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR CLIFF GUSTAFSON, 1666 OAKCREST AVENUE (PF3605) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cliff Gustafson has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A6 <br />(Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a 380 sq. <br />ft. detached accessory building (garage) addition; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Gustafson property is located at 1666 Oakcrest A venue, and legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />Lot 4, Block 20, James Fourth Addition <br />PIN 09-29-23-11-0068 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 10004.01A6 requires a maximum impervious coverage on Single Family <br />Residential property not to exceed 30% of the lot size, or in the case of the Gustafson parcel <br />3,488 square feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Gustafson parcel has a current impervious coverage of 3,839 sq. ft. <br />(33%) and the proposed addition would increase the total to 4,219 sq. ft (36%); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed garage requires a VARIANCE of 731 sq. ft. in accordance with <br />Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve a <br />731 sq. ft VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code for Cliff Gustafson to <br />allow the construction of a 380 sq. ft. addition on to his existing detached accessory building <br />(garage) at 1666 Oakcrest Avenue, subject to the following condition: <br /> <br />1 <br />
