<br />2 <br />3 <br />4 to due and notice thereof, a regular meeting the <br />5 City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 1 <br />6 at 5:00 p.m. <br />7 <br />8 The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and <br />9 Doherty, and Boerigter, <br />10 <br />11 Variance Board Member Mulder introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />12 adoption: <br />13 <br /> <br />14 VB RESOLUTION NO.8 <br /> <br />l5 <br /> <br />16 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 470 SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE TO <br />17 SECTION 1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) OF THE <br />18 ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR WILLIAM BJORNNES, 3081 EVELYN STREET <br />19 (PF3615) <br /> <br />20 <br />21 WHEREAS, William Bjomnes has requested a VARIANCE to Section <br />22 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the <br />23 construction of a 680 sq. ft. addition to his home; and <br />24 <br />25 WHEREAS, the Bjomnes property is located at 3081 Evelyn Street, and legally <br />26 described as: <br />27 <br />28 Lot 4, Block 1, Cove's North Boundary Addition <br />29 PIN 04-22-23-22-0074 <br />30 <br />31 WHEREAS, 1 0004.01A6 requires a maximum impervious coverage on Single <br />32 Family Residential property not to exceed 30% of the lot size, or in the case of the <br />33 Bjomnes parcel 2,912 square feet; and <br />34 <br />35 WHEREAS, the Bjornnes parcel has a current impervious coverage of2,875 sq. <br />36 ft. (29.6%) and the proposed addition would increase the total to 3380 sq. ft (34.8%); and <br />37 <br />38 WHEREAS, the proposed house addition requires a VARIANCE of 468 sq. ft. in <br />39 accordance with Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code; and <br />40 <br />41 WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />42 support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />43 <br />44 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />45 approve a 468 sq. ft VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code for <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 6 of 10 <br />
