2 3 4 to due and notice thereof, a regular meeting the 5 City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 1 6 at 5:00 p.m. 7 8 The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and 9 Doherty, and Boerigter, 10 11 Variance Board Member Mulder introduced the following resolution and moved its 12 adoption: 13 14 VB RESOLUTION NO.8 l5 16 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 470 SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE TO 17 SECTION 1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) OF THE 18 ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR WILLIAM BJORNNES, 3081 EVELYN STREET 19 (PF3615) 20 21 WHEREAS, William Bjomnes has requested a VARIANCE to Section 22 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the 23 construction of a 680 sq. ft. addition to his home; and 24 25 WHEREAS, the Bjomnes property is located at 3081 Evelyn Street, and legally 26 described as: 27 28 Lot 4, Block 1, Cove's North Boundary Addition 29 PIN 04-22-23-22-0074 30 31 WHEREAS, 1 0004.01A6 requires a maximum impervious coverage on Single 32 Family Residential property not to exceed 30% of the lot size, or in the case of the 33 Bjomnes parcel 2,912 square feet; and 34 35 WHEREAS, the Bjornnes parcel has a current impervious coverage of2,875 sq. 36 ft. (29.6%) and the proposed addition would increase the total to 3380 sq. ft (34.8%); and 37 38 WHEREAS, the proposed house addition requires a VARIANCE of 468 sq. ft. in 39 accordance with Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code; and 40 41 WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and 42 support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; 43 44 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to 45 approve a 468 sq. ft VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code for Page 6 of 10
