She has been working with Jeanie Jeanne Kelsey from the HRA. <br />314 <br />They have been seeking funding to provide a visual learning piece for the Karen, which focuses <br />315 <br />of Rental Rights and Responsibilities. She stated there may be opportunities for the HRC to <br />316 <br />sponsor additional dialogues about rental rights and responsibilities for the Karen population. <br />317 <br />318 <br />319 <br />Future Agenda Items <br />320 <br />321 <br />Chair Groff stated the next meeting would include updates from the HRC Award Committee and <br />322 <br />the Summer Read Committee. The Commission would also be reviewing the By-Laws at a <br />323 <br />future meeting. <br />324 <br />325 <br />Commissioner Bachhuber stated the Roseville ACT, which works with the Alzheimer’s and <br />326 <br />Dementia Taskforce, received a $10,000 grant that will allow them to build community <br />327 <br />awareness. This is City affiliated and there could be opportunities for the HRC to collaborate <br />328 <br />with them. There will be a kickoff meeting April 23 and meeting every different programing on <br />329 <br />Tuesdays and Thursdays after that. She asked if the Commission would be interested in having a <br />330 <br />representative from Roseville ACT attend a future meeting to discuss their program. <br />331 <br />332 <br />Chair Groff suggested have a representative from Roseville ACT added to a future agenda. <br />333 <br />334 <br />Commissioner Becker suggested adding the Roseville Parade to the agenda so they could begin <br />335 <br />planning. <br />336 <br />337 <br />Vice Chair Thao suggested adding discussions regarding the date for the essay contest awards. <br />338 <br />339 <br />340 <br />Adjournment <br />341 <br />342 <br />Vice Chair Thao moved and Commissioner Carey seconded a motion to adjourn. Motion <br />343 <br />passed unanimously.
