She stated the city has 497 <br />acknowledged neighborhood associations now. 498 <br /> 499 <br />Chair Grefenberg stated that said a steering commission committee be composed of Sherry, 500 <br />Diane, and Lisa could be established to initiate the task force’s deliberations. He stated they 501 <br />would have time, but the Commission would not formalize this until the other people were on. 502 <br />He stated he could make this as a motion if necessary. 503 <br /> 504 <br />Commissioner Ramundt stated suggested they just needed to write this up, get the deadlines set, 505 <br />and get working on this. 506 <br /> 507 <br />Commissioner Mueller asked if they needed to worry about the process for this. Did they need 508 <br />public notification for task force volunteers for this task force, and did notice have to be out 509 <br />given for a certain amount of time. Staff Liaison Gary Bowman stated there were no 510 <br />requirements. 511 <br /> 512 <br />Chair Grefenberg suggested an informal group be formed right now to start the work. Ms. 513 <br />McCormick stated they were already working and they would continue to work on this so it was 514 <br />okay for the commission to follow whatever process they wanted to. 515 <br /> 516 <br />Chair Grefenberg stated said he was already working with this group the residents present and he 517 <br />would continue to work with this group them. Based upon tonight’s discussion he believed they 518 <br />the Commission had made a decision to move forward with what they he and other residents 519 <br />were currently doing; what and let the Commission do what they needed to do to was get this 520 <br />information into the community and search for further volunteers. He asked what commissioners 521 <br />in addition to himself who wanted to work on this task force. 522 <br /> 523 <br />Vice Chair Becker stated they could decide this at the next meeting when they looked at this as a 524 <br />whole. 525 <br /> 526 <br /> 527 <br />ii. Host a conference on community engagement in Roseville 528 <br />Chair Grefenberg asked which Commissioner wanted to volunteer for this. He specifically asked 529 <br />Commissioner Gardella if she would like to volunteer. 530 <br /> 531 <br />Commissioner Gardella stated she was thinking more broadly about potential learning 532 <br />opportunities on the topic of engagement. about a broader opportunity for people to learn about 533 <br />Roseville. She asked how this could be added to this. She Commission Gardella agreed to take 534 <br />the lead on drafting some preliminary ideas that would address the priority, and asked if anyone 535 <br />was willing to work with her something up, but she would like to do this with someone else also. 536 <br /> 537
