Attachment B <br />Councilmember Laliberte asked that the next meeting include the community as <br />part of the process to avoid delaying getting that feedback into any next steps. <br /> <br />At the suggestion of Mayor Roe, Councilmember Etten suggested involvement of <br />the HRA in future decisions based on this expertise with the project and in housing <br />in general. <br /> <br /> Roll Call <br />Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. <br />Ayes: <br />None. <br />Nays: <br /> <br />At the request of Councilmember Willmus, City Manager Trudgeon advised that <br />he would alert the HRA of the City Council’s action, and at that point, determine <br />how best to proceed and which project option was supported in general, after which <br />time neighborhood feedback would be sought. <br /> <br />As part of that, Mayor Roe noted the City Council’s need to understand the <br />agreement before making a final determination in one way or the other, for which <br />he thought the neighborhood should also provide feedback. <br /> <br />Councilmember Willmus noted the need for GMHC to provide proformas for both <br />proposals for the benefit of the City Council and neighborhood. <br /> <br />City Manager Trudgeon suggested a special City Council meeting for only this <br />topic to allow sufficient time and consideration for all parties rather than part of a <br />larger meeting agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Roe concurred, speaking in support of the sooner the better, as long as <br />reasonable notice could be provided to allow the most participation. <br /> <br />At the request of Councilmember McGehee, Mayor Roe clarified that the HRA <br />would need to meet first to discuss selling property to the City Council before a <br />Special City Council meeting could be scheduled. <br /> <br />Councilmember Laliberte asked that the meetings be scheduled as close together as <br />possible to keep the process moving. <br /> <br />At the request of Councilmember Willmus, Ms. Olson and Mr. Buelow confirmed <br />their clear understanding of the next steps and tonight’s action by the City Council. <br />END 10:18 p.m. <br /> <br />
