<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES <br />OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 27th day of January 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Klausing, <br />Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10070 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 45 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D5 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />331 BURKE AVENUE (PF 3438). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dennis & Patricia Humphreys have requested a variance to Section <br />1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code to allow them to create an additional parcel from their <br />existing 1.15 acre parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Humphrey parcel is located at 331 Burke Avenue and legally described <br /> <br />at as: <br /> <br />The southeast quarter of Lot 7 Thornton's Subdivision of the northeast quarter of Section 13, <br />Town 29, Range 23, according to the recorded plat thereof, City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, PIN: 13-29-23-12-0013 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D5 requires residential parcels and lots to have a minimum <br />width fronting a public street of 85 feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Humphrey proposal seeks a parcel for the existing residence of 114 feet <br />and a proposed new parcel with a width fronting a public street of 40.47 feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Humphrey minor subdivision requires the granting of a 45 foot variance <br />for the newly created parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Humphrey variance request to Section 1004.02D5 ofthe Roseville City Code on January 8, <br />2003, and recommended (5-0) approval ofthe variance and minor subdivision request, based on <br />findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated January 8, <br />2003; <br /> <br />1 <br />
