Introductions <br /> <br />2. <br />Public Comment Invited <br /> <br />3. <br />Approval of Minutes of the March 3, 2015 Meeting <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of March 3, 2015. Please be prepared to approve or amend. <br />Requested Commission Action: Approve/amend meeting minutes of March 3, 2015 <br /> <br />4. <br />Introduction and Oath of Office for New Commissioner <br />Jamie Becker-Finn, Luke Heikkila and Nancy O’Brien were appointed to the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission by the City Council on Monday, March 23, 2015. Chair Stoner will officially swear them <br />in. We welcome them to the Commission and thank them for their interest in Roseville Parks and <br />Recreation. <br />Requested Commission Action: Welcome to Commissioners Becker-Finn, Heikkila and O’Brien <br />and introduction of all Commissioners. <br /> <br />5. <br />Accept Park Classification Petition and Discuss <br />Enclosed is a request and a petition from resident Lisa McCormick requesting Langton Lake Park <br />be reclassified. <br /> <br />The Roseville Parks and Recreation Classification System is a general functional framework <br />grouping parks according to certain common characteristics. It is not intended to be regulatory but <br />rather is intended to guide the parks, recreation and facilities use and planning. <br /> <br />The existing park classifications are consistent with the 2010 Parks and Recreation System Master <br />Plan. I have enclosed those sections of the plan for your review and understanding. <br />Requested Commission Action: Accept petition, discuss and provide advice. <br /> <br />6. <br />Cedarholm Golf Course Discussion <br />This is an item with an expected eventual recommendation to the City Council. <br /> <br />Included in your packet is a background report and a number of attachments to prepare you for <br />your discussion. <br />Requested Commission Action: Review, discuss and determine what additional information is <br />needed. <br /> <br />7. <br />Park and Recreation Renewal Program Status <br />Included in your packet is an updated matrix of Renewal Program projects and current status. It is a <br />continued tool designed to provide a snapshot of progress for the staff, Commission, City Council <br />and Community. <br /> <br />Any additional progress on the Renewal Program will be reported at the meeting. <br />Requested Commission Action: Discuss progress and provide input. <br />8. <br />Staff Report <br /> <br />9. <br />Other <br />10. <br />Adjournment <br /> <br /> <br />
