<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Qwest <br />Wireless a conditional use permit to erect a 54 foot tall PCS monopole and install affiliated <br />equipment cabinets in the grass area (removing on tree) at the northeast comer of the Franks <br />Nursery & Crafts parcel, 1800 South Highway 169 Service Drive, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />Parking of maintenance vehicles must occur in the off-street parking space <br />directly adjacent to the equipment shelter. <br /> <br />The 54 foot tall monopole and supporting equipment must be completely removed <br />from the site by the applicant (Qwest Wireless) if 1) operations cease. 2) the <br />equipment is damaged or unsafe as determined by the Roseville Building Official. <br />3) the CUP elapses or is determined to be in violation by the Community <br />Development Director. The City may require the applicant (Qwest Wireless) to <br />post a bond to assure timely removal of the monopole and supporting equipment. <br /> <br />This conditional use permit shall expire 6 months after approval if a building <br />permit has not been issued. (Section 1013.03) <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Schroeder and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Klausing, <br />Maschka, Schroeder, Kough and Kysylyczyn <br /> <br />f. <br /> <br />a. The maximum height above grade at the monopole base may be up to 54 feet. <br />Only one antenna cylinder of the size and pole location specified in the <br />application may be installed on the monopole. <br /> <br />b. The eauipment cabinets must be placed in an east-west direction and must be <br />erected in the e:rass area adiacent to the parkine: lot. Their size must not <br />exceed 200 square feet, as per the site plan entitled "2-4". All utility wires or <br />lines leading to the monopole from the equipment shelter must be buried. <br /> <br />c. The area surroundine: the eauipment shelter must be screened with a cedar <br />fence and/or landscaping. Trees (conifers) shall be planted on the north side to <br />replace the tree to be removed. <br /> <br />d. The monopole is to be limited to the single user/applicant (Qwest Wireless). <br />Future antenna additions will require an amendment to the approved CUP. <br /> <br />e. The Frank's Nursery & Crafts site is limited to one communication <br />monopole/antenna/tower. <br /> <br />g. <br />h. <br /> <br />The monopole must not be lighted; however, the former parking lot light can be <br />re-installed to the necessary height. <br /> <br />Electric and phone wires serving the equipment and monopole must be buried. <br /> <br />i. <br /> <br />j. <br /> <br />and the following voted against: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />2 <br />
