Besides, you don't need a <br />membership to go to the range, not to mention that shooting is also just as expensive. <br />To the topic at hand, I was an avid golfer for years but for me, the time aspect just became too great. <br />The time it took to play a round kept increasing to the point that it just sapped all of the enjoyment out <br />of the game. Finding an interesting course, getting an early tee time and playing behind the inevitable <br />players who took forever to line up shots, find lost balls and in general had no interest in the etiquette of <br />the game finally did me in. <br />The growing expense of the game was also a factor and the inability of some courses to let players get <br />out who just wanted to play a quick nine alone, forcing them to wait to join other players for a <br />foursome. <br />http://www.minnpost.com/twin-cities-business/2015/04/can-minnesota-golf... 4/22/2015 <br />
