Ms. Collins stated she would contact them. New Business a. Report on Recent Community Events/Review of Upcoming Events Ms. Collins stated the City is launching Roseville University. Each Department would be doing a topic and this will be starting May 7. People can register for any of the events but some are limited in size. Commissioner Slade asked if the Human Rights Commission would fit in the Administration course ar if they could have their own class next year. Ms. Collins stated this was something that may be possible. The Human Rights Commission will be presented as an option to get involved in the community. Chair Groff reviewed the Human Rights Commission events and deadlines coming up. 248 Ms. Collins stated she had gotten an email from the Shoreview Staff Liaison to the Human 249 Rights Commission asking if the Roseville Human Rights Commission would be interested in 25o partnering with the Shoreview Human Rights Commission to hold an event commemorating the 251 SOt" anniversary of the passage of the Voting Rights Act on August 6, 2015. They are asking the 252 Commission to promote the event and advertise it. 253 254 255 256 257 258 259 260 261 262 263 264 265 266 267 268 269 Commissioner Sin�leton moved seconded bv Commissioner annrove nartnerin� with the Shoreview Human Ri�hts Corr 2015. seconded a motion to 1 to hold an event Commissioner Slade suggested they contact the League of Women Voters so they can register people to vote at the event. The motion was called to a vote. The motion passed unanimously. Chair's Report Chair Groff stated the event at the Library regarding Homeless Youth in Minnesota had been very educational.
