<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 28th day of April, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Maschka, Schroeder, Kough and <br />Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10092 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 503 SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE <br />TO SECTION 1004.01A6 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1251 ROMAAVENUE (PF 3462) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Gerald Voermmans has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 ofthe <br />Roseville City Code for the allowance to construct a living area addition, sidewalk, and entry <br />stoops onto the existing home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Voermans parcel is located at 1251 Roan Avenue and legally described <br /> <br />at as: <br /> <br />Lot 15, Block 1, Gottfried <br />PIN: 15-29-23-43-0017 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A61imits a residential parcel in Roseville to a maximum <br />impervious coverage of 30% base on the parceVlot size; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Voermans has a lot size of 10,800 square feet, which affords the parcel <br />3,240 square feet of impervious area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Voermans parcel has a current total impervious coverage of3,209 <br />square feet, which total complies with the 30% maximum coverage allowance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Voermans proposes to add 503 square feet of home and site <br />improvements, which would increase the total impervious coverage for the parcel to 3,743 or <br />35% or an overage of 503 square feet from that which is allowed by the City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Voermans variance request (Section 1004.01A6) on April 2, 2003, and recommended (7-0) <br />approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of <br />the project report dated April 2, 2003. <br /> <br />1 <br />
