Mr. Culver advised that he anticipated having those new or <br />81 additional proposals available for review at the May or June 2015 PWETC <br />82 meetings, including financing options for solar installations. <br />83 <br />84 At the request of Member Cihacek, Mr. Culver advised that staff was working <br />85 with some of the groups having presented to the PWETC in the past, via an <br />86 informal Request for Proposals (RFP) rather than starting the process over. Mr. <br />87 Culver noted this would involve working with firms under the CERTS program <br />88 and larger types of applications that would provide a quicker payback and tax <br />89 rebate financing options. <br />90 A# <br />91 Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) <br />92 While having anticipated information to share with the PWETC tonight, Mr. <br />93 Culver advised that it was not yet available, and would plan a status report at the <br />94 May 2015 PWETC meeting. <br />95 <br />96 Annual Joint Meeting of the City Council and PWETC <br />97 Mr. Culver asked Members to mark their calendars for this June 22, 2015 and <br />98 plan to attend. <br />99 <br />100 Chair Stenlund concurred, advising that a brainstorming session was planned at <br />101 the next PWETC meeting, listing projects accomplished to -date and those <br />102 anticipated int future by the body. <br />103 <br />104 Sealcoating Update <br />105 At the request of Chair Stenlund, Mr. Cu ver advise that the City Council had <br />106 approved the recommendation of staff and the PWETC to suspend sealcoating <br />107 with an annual review to determine if thec�upension was addressing the <br />108 delamination distresses. Mr. Culver anti ted a minimum of two years to make <br />109 a determination; and noted monies lly allocated for sealcoating would be <br />110 used for mill and overlay efforts instead. <br />111 <br />14 <br />112 C air Stenlund asked if staff anticipated any change in the City's pavement index <br />113 ranking at this time. <br />114 <br />115 Mr. Culver responded that none was proposed, and any additional monies would <br />116 serve to alleviate the annual backlog of streets needing mill and overlay versus <br />117 available funding, allowing staff to get to some of those lower -rated pavements <br />118 more quickly than normally allowed. <br />119 <br />120 At the request of Chair Stenlund, Mr. Culver confirmed that the City would <br />121 continue to perform its annual indexing and surveys; with additional time spend <br />122 on minor pothole filling and crack sealing that would typically be spent on <br />123 sealcoating efforts. <br />124 <br />125 Sewer Lining Project <br />Page 3 of 13 <br />
