After the meeting on May l lth, staff sent out the draft document out to all Commissioners and posted <br />the document on the City website asking for comment. Comments from Commissioners and the public <br />�� received to date have been included as Attachment D. Additional public comment is welcomed as part <br />of the discussion at the June 8th meeting. <br />POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />Adopting strategic priorities will provide the City Council and staff direction in providing City services <br />and programs in a planned and targeted way. Moving forward, the strategic priorities will be part of <br />department work plans and operations. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />There are no further costs as part of finalizing the final report. As these goals will be implemented over <br />� the next two years, there will be costs that will need to be budgeted far and staff time taken into <br />account. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff requests discussion and feedback on the draft report from the City Council and the public. <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />The City Council should provide comments and direction on the final report.
