Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br /> and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. Mayor Roe noted that Coun- <br /> cilmember Laliberte had previously advised she would not be available due to scheduling <br /> conflicts. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> At the request of staff, Business/Action Items 14.c and 14.d were removed from tonight's <br /> agenda as violations at 2241 had been resolved and violations at 959 Brenner Avenue <br /> were substantially completed, bringing both properties into compliance with City Code <br /> nullifying the need for a City abatement process to proceed. <br /> Due to a recent resignation on the Community Engagement Commission, City Manager <br /> Trudgeon requested the addition of Consent Item 8.f to initiate the advertisement for can- <br /> didates to fill the unexpired term, as detailed in the Request for Council Action provided <br /> as a bench handout. <br /> Willmus moved, Etten seconded approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 4. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. <br /> a. Georgeann Hall,385 Transit Avenue <br /> Ms. Hall read a written statement regarding solid waste ending up in landfills, and <br /> encouraged the City Council to be proactive in addressing this situation now to <br /> determine how solid waste will be disposed of over the next 15-20 years rather <br /> than letting someone else end up responsible for doing so. <br /> b. Dee Kennedy, representing residents at 405 Brooks Avenue, Barbara Ander- <br /> son (her sister) and Bert Lindberg <br /> Ms. Kennedy brought to the City Council's attention the status of her sister's <br /> home that had recently been put on the market. Ms. Kennedy expressed concern <br /> that a sale of the home would be delayed due to the ongoing code enforcement is- <br />
