<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of June, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Schroeder, Kysylyczyn, Maschka, and Klausing. <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10111 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN 18 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02Al AND <br />1004.02D5 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />345 OW ASSO BOULEVARD SOUTH (PF3484) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Daniel Peterson has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A7 (Location) <br />and 1004.02D5 (Dwelling Dimensions - Front Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code to <br />allow the construction a 624 square foot garage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Peterson parcel is located at 345 Owasso Boulevard South and legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />The West 114 feet of Lot 1, measured on the North line of said Lot 1, Map of A.K. <br />Barnum's Garden Lots, together with that part of vacated street accruing thereto. <br /> <br />PID: 01-29-23-12-0007. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A7 and Section 1004.02D5 both require a minimum front <br />yard setback of 30 feet from a front property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Peterson home currently lies 12 feet from the front property line, the <br />same distance which the proposed garage would lie; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Peterson variance request (Section 1004.01A7 & 1004.02D5) on June 4, 2003, and <br />recommended (6-0) approval of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and <br />conditions of Section 6 ofthe project report dated June 4, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Daniel <br />Peterson an 18 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A7 (Location) &1004.02D5 (Dwelling <br />Dimensions - Front Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code allowing the construction a 624 <br />square foot detached accessory building (garage) at 345 South Owasso Boulevard, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
