<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of July, 2003, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Schroeder, Maschka, Klausing, Kough, and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10115 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 377 SQUARE FOOT (3.5%) VARIANCE TO <br />SECTION 1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) FOR NORMAN GREGG, <br />1137 COUNTY ROAD B2 (3494). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Norman Gregg has requested a Variance to Section 1004.01A6 of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a detached accessory building in his rear yard, <br />replacing an aging shed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Gregg parcel is located at 1137 County Road B2, legally described as: <br /> <br />Lot 11, Block 5, Porte Park Addition <br />PIN: 10-29-23-14-0056 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code limits residential parcels to a <br />maximum impervious coverage (lot coverage) of30% of the lot size; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Gregg desires an accessory building that is a minimum of24 feet deep <br />to allow storage of his boat and has stated he would reduce the existing impervious coverage on <br />his parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Planner recommended that a 377 sq. ft. (3.5%) VARIANCE tQ Section <br />1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code be granted to Mr. Gregg, allowing construction of 480 sq. <br />ft. detached accessory building at 1137 County Road B2, subject to conditions tha reduce the <br />overall impervious coverage on the parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Gregg variance on July 9,2003, and recommended (4-1) approval of the request based on <br />findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated July 9, <br />2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Norman <br />Gregg a 377 sq. ft. (3.5%) VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code <br />allowing the construction a 20' by 24' (480 sq. ft.) detached accessory building (garage) in the <br />rear yard of property located at 1137 County Road B2, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
