EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVlLLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of February, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschka, Kough, Klausing and the following were absent: None Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10204 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D4 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR DIANE HOLMGREN 370 MILLWOOD STREET (PF3545) WHEREAS, Diane Holmgren has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D4 (Corner Lot Setback) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of third attached garage stall on to the west side of her home; and WHEREAS, the Holmgren parcel is located at 370 Millwood Street, and legally described as: Lot 1, Block 4, Tschida Owasso Hills PIN: 01-29-23-13-0064 WHEREAS, 1004.02D4 reads: "a side yard adjacent to a street on a corner lot shall not be less than 30feet"; and WHEREAS, the Holmgren principal structure was constructed in 1976 and lies 32 feet from the property line adjacent to Western A venue; and WHEREAS, the proposed condition would place the attached garage 20 feet from the property line adjacent to Western Avenue, which location is an 10 foot encroachment into the required setback; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the Holmgren request, recommending (7-0) approval of a 10 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D4 of the Roseville City Code, based on the findings of Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated February 4,2004; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to approve a 10 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D4 of the Roseville City Code for Diane Holmgren, 370 Millwood Street, subject to the following conditions: 1
