35Front porch is built, and the front steps and rock will get cemented to the posts this <br />36weekend and next week (7/10-7/17) <br />37A significant amount of landscaping remains. The gravel where the old driveway was <br />38needs to be dug out and put where the patio will go, a pile of dirt from the northeast <br />39corner needs to be moved to the south side of the house, and the old driveway needs <br />40to be filled in with soil, then we can plant. I don't plan to put in a fence this year and <br />41may wait to install the patio blocks, but the back yard will be prepped for a patio. <br />42Upper back deck off the master bedroom- we have the railings, need to get the <br />43decking and install. Maybe the week of July 20? <br />44Driveway base was put in June 30, but the asphalt cannot be poured until the surface <br />45is driven on for up to 6 weeks; August 11 is when they can put in the final asphalt. <br />46Cement work for the additional driveway entrance and sidewalk is scheduled. <br />47 <br />Staff Recommendation <br />48 <br />49Staff is recommending, based upon the building inspections department’s recommendation, <br />50that the homeowner/builder be given until October 16, 2015, to complete the home. We <br />51strongly believe they will be done well before that date but it gives the homeowner the <br />52proper time to deal with regulatory agencies.
