Motion passed unanimously. <br />Approve Agenda <br />Commissioner Christiansen requested Old Business item a. Essay Contest Information and <br />Discussion be moved to the end of Old Business discussion. <br />Commissioner Sin�leton moved and Commissioner Christiansen seconded a motion to <br />approve the agenda as amended. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Public Comment on Items Not on A�enda <br />There being no one present wishing to spealc to the Commission on an item not on the agenda, <br />the Chair moved to the next agenda item. <br />Old Business <br />a. Civility Training <br />Ms. Collins stated after discussions with the Institute and the Library it had been determined that <br />a 9:00 am to 1:00 pm time frame would work the best on September 19. This is over the lunch <br />hour and they would recommend that a lunch be provided. The invoice from the Institute was <br />$1700 and this does not include a lunch. This leaves about $300 in the budget to work with for <br />providing a light lunch. <br />82 Commissioner Christiansen suggested having food brought in so people could eat while <br />83 participating. This would allow the training to remain on schedule and you would not run the <br />84 risk of attendance dropping after lunch. <br />85 <br />86 Ms. Collins stated the intention would be to bring in a lunch. The Library did not have a <br />87 problem with food being in this particular location. <br />88 <br />
