<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 1081 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE MODIFYING CHAPTER 119 OF THE CITY CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE REGULATING BINGO AND LAWFUL GAMBLING. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br /> <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Roseville City Code Chapter 119 is amended to read <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />119. Lawful Gambling <br /> <br />119.010 Lawful Gambling. <br /> <br />Lawful gambling as regulated by Minnesota Statute Chapter 349, is <br />permitted in the City if the organization conducting such <br />activities meets the following criteria: <br /> <br />1. Is licensed by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />2. Is a tax exempt organization pursuant to 501(c) of the <br />Internal Revenue Code or has a 501(c) application pending <br />with the Internal Revenue Service. <br /> <br />3. Maintains an address within the City. <br /> <br />4. Has been in existence as a nonprofit corporation or as <br />a 501(c) tax exempt organization at least three (3) <br />consecutive years prior to the date it begins its gambling <br />operations. <br /> <br />5. Complies with all of the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br />119.015. Number of Licenses and Permits. <br /> <br />1. Organizations which lawfully conducted gambling in the City <br />before the effective date of this ordinance, which meet the <br />requirements of Section 119.010 above, except did not <br />maintain an address in the City prior to the effective date <br />of this ordinance, may continue to conduct such gambling not <br />
