<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 1082 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR REVISION OF THE PLANNED <br />UNIT DEVELOPMENT CHAPTER OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE, BY REPEALING <br />THE PRESENT CHAPTER 17 AND ADOPTING THE NEW CHAPTER 17 TO READ AS <br />FOLLOWS <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br /> <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That Chapter 17 of the Rosevi11e City Code is hereby <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />17. Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br /> <br />17.010 Definition of a Planned Unit Development (PUD). <br /> <br />A zoning district which may include single or mixed uses, one or <br />more lots or parcels, intended to create a more flexible, <br />creative and efficient approach to the use of land and subject to <br />the procedures, standards and regulations contained in this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />17.020 Development Review Committee. <br /> <br />The Development Review Committee referred to in this Chapter <br />shall be appointed by the City Manager and will conduct a review <br />of all development plans. <br /> <br />17.030 Authorization: Planned unit development <br />authorization mayallew: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. Variety: Within a comprehensive site desi~n <br />concept a mixture of land uses, housing types and densities. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Sensitivity: Through the departure from the <br />strict application of required setbacKs, yard areas, lot sizes, <br />minimum house sizes, minimum requirements, and other performance <br />standards associated with traditional zoning, planned unit <br />development can maximize the development potential of land while <br />remaining sensitive to its unique and valuable natural <br />characteristics. <br /> <br />1 <br />
