<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 1084 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE BY REGULATING SURFACE PARKING AND DEFINING AND <br />REGULATING GROUND SIGNS BY AMENDING SECTION 7.130 AND 8.190 AND <br />ADDING SECTIONS 14.020 AND 14.191. <br /> <br />The City Council of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, <br /> <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />section 7.130 of the City Code of the City of Roseville <br /> <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 7.130 Surfacing of Parkinq Areas. <br /> <br />1. <br />improved <br />surface. <br /> <br />All open off street parking areas shall be <br />or constructed with a durable and dustless <br /> <br />2. New parking lot surfacing shall be a minimum <br />of two (2) inches of bituminous pavement over an <br />appropriate base. <br /> <br />3. Concrete curb and proper setbacks will be <br />required if the parking lot is regraded or <br />reconstructed with a one (1) inch lift or greater of <br />bituminous pavement, except: <br /> <br />a) In R-1 and R-2 districts; <br />b) Parking lot seal coated or surface treated; <br />c) Minor patching or surface repair (overlay less <br />than 25%) <br /> <br />4. The construction of any new parking areas in <br />any zoning district except R-1 and R-2, and all <br />repairs, remodeling and additions if the construction <br />involved increases the overall size of the parking lot <br />by ten (10) percent or in the event that the <br />construction increases the assessor's market value by <br />over twenty (20) percent, shall require site plan <br />review as described in section 19.020. <br /> <br />5. All construction which repairs or remodels or <br />alters a parking lot between ten (10) percent and fifty <br />(50) percent of its size shall not be required to meet <br />all of the criteria outlined above.
