We will meet at <br />the playground site located on the east side of Langton Lake on County <br />Road C2and Arthur Street(if you go to FairviewAvenueand County Road <br />C2, go west and you will run right into it). The tour will last about 30 <br />minutes and after that we will head over to Sandcastle Park (3060 Patton <br />Road) to convene the regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. or shortly after. <br />Introductions <br />1. <br />Public Comment Invited <br />2. <br />Approval of Minutes of the August 4, 2015, 2015Meeting <br />3. <br />Enclosed is acopy of the minutes of August 4,2015.Please be prepared to approve or <br />amend. <br />Requested Commission Action <br />:Approve/amend meetingminutesof August 4, 2015. <br />Tour of Langton Lake Park as it relates to the potential adjacent Twin Lakes <br />4. <br />Development <br />Langton Lake Park and how it works with any future nearby development in the Twin Lakes <br />Area has been an ongoingtopic of discussionwith a high level of interestby previousand <br />currentParks and Recreation Commissions. <br />Community Development Director Mr. Paul Bilotta was at your August meetingtopresent <br />andhear your thoughts on potential future Twin Lakes area development projects. He <br />facilitateda discussion on Park Dedication and requested your thoughts on how you might <br />see a potential development work with Langton Lake Parkand how you see land dedication <br />being applied. <br />During discussion, a tour of Langton Lake Parkwas suggestedprior to your September <br />meeting. It was decided to meet at 6:00 p.m. at the playground atCounty Road C2 and <br />Arthur Street.From there, we would walk around the south and west areas ofthe Park and <br />then proceed to Sandcastle Park for a meeting at approximately6:30 p.m. <br />Requested Commission Action <br />:Tour of LangtonLake Park as it relates to potential <br />nearby developmentand begin to formulate comments for the Community Development <br />Department. <br />Park Dedication –Rosedale Mall Expansion <br />5. <br />Enclosed is a letter and a site map regarding a proposed subdivision projectat Rosedale <br />Mall. The site currently includes several lots. The proposal is tocombine those lots and <br />create one 2.1 acre lot for new retail. <br />The project qualifies for Park Dedication. The cash amountwould be approximately <br />$102,300(7% of the FMV).The land amount would be 5%of 2.1 acres or .105acre. <br /> <br />
